Nourishing Fertility Bone Broth Recipe
Yes. I know it's Summer time and that I promised you this recipe six months ago. But here I am and here it is. Although it's 90 degrees outside I'm still sipping on my daily bone broth and you should be too.
Rich in minerals, Collagen, and L-Glutamine, bone broth has countless benefits. Remember your younger days when you came down with a cold and your mother or grandmother made you soup? She was on to something!
Bone broth helps reduce inflammation, strengthens teeth and bones, repair the gut and for womb health - bone broth is deeply warming, toning, and nourishing and I love using bone broth to nourish my fertility.
When you add herbs to your bone broth, you increase its nutritional value and who doesn't want that! I love to add traditional Chinese herbs as well as my old favorite, Nettles.

- Spring Water
- 2 lbs of Organic pasture raised Chicken Bones
- 2 -3 Organic pasture raised Chicken Feet
- 2 Celery stalks
- 1 Onion
- Black peppercorn
- 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- Codonopsis root (Dang Shen)
- Goji Berry
- Chinese Date
- Lemon juice
*Add 1-2 tbsps. of any addition of your choice.
In a large crockpot, add everything except additions. Set crockpot on lowest setting for at least 8 hours. I let mine go a full 24. During the last two hours add additions. Strain before serving.
