Fertility Superfoods

The following are my favorite fertility boosting superfoods:

Maca |

Maca Root helps to balance hormones because it has the nutrients needed to support hormone production.  Maca is a great superfood for those suffering from adrenal fatigue because it nourishes the endocrine system helping to reduce stress. Black Maca is a wonderful superfood for men with low libido and sperm count.

Chia Seeds |

Chia seeds contain Omega 3's, Fiber, Iron, Antioxidants, Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium. The fertility boostings seeds help provide energy, fight inflammation, reduce sugar cravings and regulate blood sugar levels benefiting those with PCOS.

Spirulina |

A Blue Green Algae, Spirulina is loaded with vegetable protein, high in B Vitamins, Vitamins, A,C,D, and E. It's also a wonderful source of Calcium, Copper, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Selenium, Phosphorus, and Manganese. Spriulina can help balance hormones and increase egg health as well as many other amazing things!  

Coconut Oil |

Coconut Oil is loaded with healthy fat. It helps to promotes weight loss, improves digestion, helps kill funguses and viruses as well as many other amazing benefits. Add Coconut Oil to Smoothies, Sweet Potatoes, Oatmeal, and Coffee.

Chlorella |

Chlorella is nutrient dense loaded with vitamins and minerals including calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron,  phosphorous, Vitamin A, Vitamins C, B1, B2, B2, B5, B6, B12, E and K, Folic acid and Biotin. Chlorella also helps improve digestion helping to increasing good bacteria in the gut.

Flax Seeds |

High in both Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids, Flax Seeds help balance hormones. Flax Seeds are loaded with  B vitamins, Magnesium and Manganese making them the perfect fertile food.  They are also great for women who want balance their hormones because of PCOS.

Hemp Seeds |

Life flaxseeds, Hemp is also high in Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids. Hemp seeds are rich in protein, vitamins A, C, and E as well as Beta-carotene. Hemp Seeds are booth energy boosting and anti-inflammatory. Add hemp seeds to smoothies, yogurt, and breakfast grains. 

Bee Pollen |

Loaded with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, and enzymes; Bee pollen is a great source of Vitamin A, Vitamins B, B5, B12, Vitamin C, E, and K. Bee pollen is a wonderful energy booster and can also benefit those suffering from seasonal allergies (when using local bee pollen). (Do not use if you have bee allergy.) 

ROYAL JELLY |

High in B-Complex vitamins, Vitamin C, minerals, enzymes; Royal Jelly increases brain function, boost the immune system, helps to protect the liver, reduces inflammation, and provides a better overall sense of well being. Royal Jelly has quickly become a fertile superfood favorite for many women. (Do not use if you have bee allergy.) 

Raw Honey |

Anti-Bacterial and Anti-fungal, raw honey is loaded with Vitamins A,C,D,E, and K, B- Complex Vitamins, and small amounts of minerals like  iron, calcium, magnesium. Raw Honey is loaded with antioxidants and amino acids and has been used medicinally for thousands of years. 

Goji Berry |

Loaded with antioxidants Goji berries make a wonderful fertile food for both men and women. For men Goji berries have been shown to increase sperm count and in women Goji berry may help ovarian function. Goji berries are often used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for fertility. 

Cacao |

Cacao makes a wonderful fertile food because - A. Who doesn't love chocolate in it's natural form and B. It is LOADED with nutrients like Magnesium, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B9, C, and E. Copper, Calcium, and a many other fertility boosting nutrients. It's also an aphrodisiac and help when used prior to love making with your partner. 

Wheatgrass |

Wheatgrass contains Vitamins A, B, C, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, and Phosphorus. Wheatgrass is also a wonderful source of vegetable protein. Drinking 1 oz. of Wheatgrass daily helps to detoxify the body, helping to promote a more fertile environment.
